Total Year Business Expenses

Make sure all the expenses mentioned below are work-related only. For example, gas mileage will only be considered as a business expense if your vehicle is being used during work hours. Gas mileage to and from work will not be considered an expense. Be sure to declare all the expenses related to business according to the right %. For example, if you used your cell phone for work purposes 50% of the time, declare the percentage related to work that was used. The same idea must be followed with the other expenses, as you will see below. Remember to keep all supporting documents for at least 3 years in your files.
